BesTeam was founded in 2021 by a group of researchers aiming to contribute, through their expertise, to the protection of animal welfare and the quality of their products.
BesTeam is engaged in studying the potential of ruminants in
contributing to the degradation of microplastics,
mitigating greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and
utilising alternative feeds and by-products that do not compete with human consumption.
Our goal is to redefine the role of livestock farming, especially ruminants, by highlighting their positive impact on the environment and society through their unique digestive processes.
Their natural activity can help tackle plastic and methane pollution while also supporting sustainable production.
